Roadside Assistance Programs - Pro/Con?

Get the AAA Plus if available ( only some areas have the one year wait for the plus, my area only one week wait for the plus and RV, I have 100 mile towing for my car and travel trailer if pullling)
Alot of the gumby brand auto clubs are worthless in many parts of the country ( they re imburse you, but you have to have cash on the barrelhead when they unhook your car or you'll be paying storage fees at their yard , found this out the hard way last winter in New York... two tow truck drivers said the same thing...if I had AAA, it would be no problem....nuff said)

I had used AAA in the past and they functioned no problems...cant remember why I switched, some cheap deal through my bank or something.
