Err.. yes, I agree. I've looked around at my firewall grommets and sealed several, but this particular leak was very high up in the dash.

I checked aorund the windshield while I was driving and it felt dry, but I also found that my dashboard sheet metal was badly rusted when I removed the wasted dashpad, so evidence is pointing towards windhshield seal.
