I have a 1990 740 GL. It has 190,000 mıles on it. I own it for more than three years. I love it. Either its is cold or hot it cranks fine (tacho. moves when cranking) but it doesnt start though it starts with a starting fluid fine and runs great. However, if it is cold it sputters and dies so I need to press the gas pedal until the engine gets warm up. I change the distributor rotor, spar plugs,cold start water temp. sensor, clean the idle motor,clean both the throttle and the intake manifold. I also try to clean the cold start injector and fuel injectors. I think the fuel injectors fine. Is there anything I need to do or I am missing to check.
