that is what I am trying to figure out. Apparently ( according to the installation manual) on some engines there is some way of finding a more constant source of vacuum ( they must be talking about some kind of vac reservoire?). This does not make sense to me as there is vacuum at idle on the engine side of the throttle plates, but at full open there is less vacuum. I'm just trying to work this out. The cruise on my VW uses an electric vac pump which bypasses this issue of open throttle vac drop, which is the issue here as the CC needs to have more vac at more open throttle setting in order to accelerate the engine. yada yada yada....
