Until you find the problem you can get an in-line fuse holder that holds the glass fuses and use insulated alligator clips on the metal connectors of the fuse box. That is a temporary and cheap way to re-connect the circuit while you troubleshoot. I wouldn't want to drive that way for fear of vibrations causing a short.
