SOLVED! 120-130

The second fusebox is linked in to fuse #2, It appears to draw some power right form th battery, but I didn't play with it too much. The 25 amp fuse (main box) runs all the stock/standard accessories, as well as a the aux radiator fan that the original owner installed and I subsequently removed when I took out the AC condenser.

When I started tracing extra wires from that fuse I noticed an extra wire running up to the radiator. It ended abruptly being pinched under the nosepiece. It turns out that last week when I removed the nose piece and took it to hardware store to match up bolts (a bit awkward, but effective), I managed to snag one of the aux fan wires. So... I removed the offending wire, noticed that it's connector had been torn off with bare wires touching my bodywork. I insulated both fan wires, put it all back together and now it seems fine. I took it on a couple of jaunts aorund town to get stainless steel replacement screws, then over to the dealer for a new oil filter and crush ring. I think I've solved the problem!!!

Additionally, I figured out some "other" wiring that was bothering me. The 25amp fuse also has a thin 18 gauge wire that runs into the firewall and loops through the charging indicator before coming back out and grounding at the VIN plate. So now I know exactly where that subsystem is routed and where it is measuring the car's voltage.

Anyway, thanks for all your help and suggestions guys. I managed to dig one extra 25 amp fuse out of my spare parts box, so I'm back to fully fused again.
