not as specific as the other replys but i have a 90 740 gl. just bought it and a/c didnt work. in canada it's required by law that mechanics convert to r134 before doing any work on any car. instead of ordering from fcp groton for us$100-200, i paid for a shop to convert and pressurize (220CAD). it works as well as i need it to and it's been consistantly 104 degrees Farenheit with the humidex here. 1500kms on conversion 2-3wks ago.
