Weber Idle Jet Question 120-130

<< Tom, air cleaners might restrict flow a bit at high rpm, but really not at idle. And since the amount of fuel drawn from the jets is proportional to the velocity of air passing across the jets (greatly oversimplifying!), restriction wouldn't necessarily change the air/fuel ration.>>

Ah, of course. I think I'm obsessed with getting the carbs jetted perfectly precisely because I feel like I don't 100% understand how/why they work the way they do. Every little bit of tinkering learns me somethin' new!

I'll have to see if turning the idle mix in all the way completely kills it...

I know the Weber DGVs don't have the best reputation, but since that's what is on the car now my determination is to make it the best of the not-best I can make it.
