Thoughts On Electronic Pointless Ignition 120-130

On my first and half year with my rojo 121, I bust two compufire unit (a pertronix like units, but with lower quality).

After it, I try a different approach: I set a MSD 5 amplifier unit (it goes between the points distributor and the coil). Also, I rebuild the distributor and change the damaged coil to a Bosch blue one. It work fine and the points not erode anymore (not more ignition problems up today).

The MSD5 ressemble a red brick and is big in comparission with Pertronix or Crane, I set it on in front of the air filter and battery (the MSD 5 unit came with long wires):
