I have a MSD system on my 68 firebird and it made the car very much more livable. it never needs servicing, and it upped my output significantly. It also reduced my fuel consuption by a marked degree....the only down side was increased opperating temps as more fuel was being burned and not flying out of the tail pipe.....i would recomend it totally....any old engine i ever have will go pointless from now on...great investment. the only issues that i have ever had stemmed from using crimp style wire connectors in a car with a fairly radical cam (aka massive vibration at idle)...they simply shake apart....i reconnected with solder...no more issues...at all
