no start sometimes 200 1989

Sounds like a "dead spot" (no current flow) on your starter. Never heard of it on a Brick....most British cars suffer this, now, and then. But, then you replaced the starter, and it still ahppens. Have you checked your 25 AMP fuse for corrosion (in and out) ? Art may be on target. I'd chase the electrics (all connections/ wires/ cables) on ignition. It may even be a faulty ignition switch.
