How long do factory alternators usually last?

Typically anywhere between 100k to 250k before the brushes wear out. Occasionally, there are issues with the regulator, diodes, or bearings, but these Bosch alternators are pretty well made.

Such said, I have (3) spares I plucked from the junkyard. It's hard to pass up a freshly replaced one for $10, y'know.
