5.0 no pip when warm

Hey all, I have been having a no spark issue, and I thought I'd run it by here to get some ideas. The engine is a Ford 5.0, 93 style.

The problem: The car dies after running for about 7-10 minutes from cold. At that point, there is no spark. It will just die.

I pulled codes, and the only relevant one is a code 14, for "intermittant loss of pip signal"

I removed the TFI module, and it tests ok with a multimeter. This was done while it was warm.

During this no spark condition, I get 8 volts on the pip signal tested at the TFI module while cranking. I am hoping this means that there is a pip signal being produced, but I'm not totally sure, since the book says I should get 3-6 volts.

I will try the "10 pin squeeze" to make sure those connections are solid.

Any other ideas?

Greg
