Fuel mileage

I don't know whether or not the older style is available, I just assumed it was. The newer style will probably not come out as much as the older trim. On my 84 Turbo, it is shorter by about 1/4" maybe. It varies around the windshield.

My 84 did not have the rubber trim around the windshield, it was a hard plastic one, all black. IIRC, that might be a little different than what you got in 82. Mine is similar to what you would find on 86-90, but no chrome.

Yeah, no one wants to slow down! Get some hard narrow tires, like stock ones. 185 wide. Those can be your "MPG" tires.
