Did you really mean understeer? I think my car actually has a pretty neutral to somewhat oversteer tendency. (225/45R17 front & 255/40R17 rear) Of course, I have a 745 with a tow bar, 3rd seat, etc, which adds a chunk of weight to the rear. With a full tank of gas I'm 51% front and 49% rear, tipping the scales at 3570lbs total. Honestly can't remember if that includes me as a driver, but I don't think it does.
If I were to do my wheels/tires over, I'd probably just go with 225 all around. Having the wide wheels in the rear doesn't get me much more traction, prevents rotation, and always seems to rub under load. But, the wider wheels/tires LOOK cooler which outweighs everything right? =)
