I've opted for a custom aluminum Ron Davis Radiator with the hose connections in the proper place for the ford hoses, a transmission cooler, and remote fill. The dimensions are 26 x 16 and the core is 2 3/4 thick. I don't have it yet, but this will allow me to get the radiator tight against the A/C condensor for maximum clearance. I will use the stock A/C fan as a pusher and whatever fan I can fit as a puller. I also need to relocate a remote fill/overflow tank that will most likely go above the current battery. This, of course, will mean I have to relocate the battery to the rear somewhere.
