Last night I finally got around to changing the pads(PBR Ceramic) and rotors(Zimmerman cross drilled). I also did Eurosport SS lines and a good flush with ATE Blue fluid. The test drive was relatively short, but it seems the shudder is gone.
I have a brake bleeding question for all of you. I built a pressure bleeder that is very similar to the Motive products bleeder. How much PSI is really necessary to adequately bleed the system? I was reading that some of the pressure systems use 30psi. I was able to bleed mine with about 5psi. Is there and advantage to the higher pressure? I would think it would just get messier with the fluid shooting out of the bleeder screws. The blue fluid made it easy to tell when the lines were completely flushed. Next time I will use the amber stuff.
I still have to attach the VSS. Another day's project.
