Leaking gas 850 1997

I have the same problem with mine; I just try my best to never fill it up to the top. The gas station pump "auto shutoff" fills it WAY past the point where it will start leaking and if/when it does it turns into Niagara falls. I did take it in for the gas tank recall and that's when they told me about the seal on the tank however it wasn't under recall and requires removing the tank to fix AKA expensive. That's what Jim Fisher Volvo said in Portland anyway.
