Drivers door miseries 850

I found the window guide busted off and sitting down below the glass, but
not before it got caught, bent at a jaunty angle, and screwed up the works
with the door latch. The door opens easily only from the inside, and I'm wondering if I gotta do some serious tweaking with the arm that engages the door latch?

Has anyone experienced this joy?
