Intermitent no hot start 850

Hi All
Posting on behalf of a friend, 94 850 NA. Start fine when cold. Occasionally will crank but not start when hot. No CEL nor codes stored. When it occurs he says he has fuel at schrader valve on rail but no spark from coil. Has changed CPS and coil apparatus. I know redblock but have zero knowledge of white blocks. Anyone have a link to green book(service manual)for 94 850? Do these ECU's get flakey? Is there a power stage that craps out like a 940/740? Is the fuel pump relay also the "system" relay like a RSR on a 940? Where would you check next?
