I had heard that owners of earlier 850 sedans complained of ride harshness under certain conditions. Is there anything to that, and what were the circumstances that caused complaint? Also, did Volvo ever address this?
I am considering buying a Canadian market 1996 850 GLE sedan, 5-speed. FWIW, I consider virtually all American and Japanese cars too soft. Our '87 740 was very good, and even our '940 940 is a bit mushy with its American market shocks. Am I making an issue out of something I shouldn't?
