Ride harshness? 850 1996

Maybe the 500 BMWs are different than the 300's I test drove before I bought my S70. My experience was the 300's were every bit as "jittery" as my S70. Not complaining, mind you; I like this. The BMW was clearly tighter in the corners, but the S70 was otherwise the better car for me because of seating, cabin noise, sound system, and especially accelerating power (important, as I have to duel with trucks and SUV's on 2-lane rural roads).

I'd like to get the M5 next, though. Can I get it with green/blue instrumentation instead of WWII fighter-plane red?
