You have my undivided attention for the next 10 minutes:)
If your car still won't start, pull a plug and see if it is wet. If so, pull the rest of them and clean them. You could have a bad MAF sensor, or a bad connection.
When you turn the key to pos II, do your hear the fuel pump work for a second? If not, then it is the fuel pump or the relay.
Have you tried to crank the starter for a continous 60 seconds? That is also worth a shot.
I don't know why starter fluid didn't make it work. Don't you need to take off the air supply hose to do that? Is there any suction?
As an aside, if the odometer doesn't work, buy a new plastic gear and fix it. It is always nice to know when to change the timing belt.
