I am sitting here bored - family is off on a weekend trip. I just realized your 850 is a 1994. You have a builtin code reader. Just in front of the computer box on the passenger side are two little boxes. The box on the left has a little probe.
See the 700 FAQ on this site for a description on how to retrieve and clear codes.
You are in luck, FCPGroton is close to you. If you ever need a part, they can get it to you for 40-60% less than the dealer. It usually take a week for my orders to come through.

My 854T must have caught something from yours... It just started to have hard starts- 15 seconds of cranking before starting and no trouble codes.
