Are you talking about the whistle you hear while accelerating? This noise is the turbo "spooling" under acceleration. The whistle actually has a tone or pitch that increases as the turbo is creating more boost, which is ramming cold air into the intake. The 850 turbos are relatively quiet turbos compared to most turbos.
