advice on possible purchase 850

An 850 GLT with 200+ is worth less than $2K. US Bald Eagles on the front? Who knows how old the rear tires are. There are probably not a stack of service records in the glove box or 3 keys and 2 fobs. This "dealer" probably bought it a salvage and wants to make $3,000.
Check out Ebay and look at high milage 850s. Not a pretty sight. The 5 cylinder can easily pull 300K + miles IF is is maintained. The tranny must be flushed every 40K miles or it will die. If the fluid looks clean, I would look for another car - the recent flush could be a cover of bad things that already happened.
