advice on possible purchase 850

If you were getting it for under $2000 ... maybe. The ac repair is a $1000+ job unless you do it yourself but check out the Volvospeed web site "Bay 13" pictures. It's a MAJOR undertaking. Mileage is pretty high. It's not a 740. If you maintain it yourself it's going to eat up alot of your weekend time. Try to find one with less miles.
