OK here is the latest. The suspension repairs helped the clunking, but the tranny was still stuttering sometimes. The oil leak they repaired was worse after the repair. Supposedly a leak on an oil line to one of the turbos. And to top it off my remote no longer worked.

Back to the dealer. They have called in the extended warranty folks to approve a new transmission. No word yet. This would definitely make the cost of the certified pre-owned well worth it.
