Final Update.

We got the S80 back yesterday, December 11th. They wound up getting a second new transmission. The cracked sensor was on the first new trasnmission. The car shifts beautifully. No indication of the old problems. The oil leak was a cracked line to one of the turbos.

They had the car for 6 weeks. They use rental cars for loaners at this dealership. The dealer's bill for ours was $1422! The bill for the tranny replacement was over $3000, all for our $50 deductable.

We did have to go back by the dealership one more time before heading the 25 miles back home. I had reported my keyless entry had stopped working after they did the 90,000 mile checkup. Even though the service ticket said it was fixed, it still did not work. They could not get to accept the program, so they replaced it for free. (After some negotiation.)
