This isn't a spring problem, it is caused by the cast aluminum portion of the arm deforming itself over time. The best way to rebend them is to remove the arm from the car and do some careful work with wood scrap blocks and a large bench vise or a small hydraulic press. I rebent ours a couple of times before giving in and buying aftermarket replacements. The Scantech replacement was still going strong when I sold the car last year.
