I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM ON MY 850 TURBO. TRY USING WIPERS SOLD AT KRAGEN AUTO PARTS (I THINK THE BRAND NAME IS TIVO OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT), ALSO TRY USING WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID AND ANTIFREEZE, THAT YOU PUT IN YOUR WASHER FLUID. ITS AN ORIGINAL VOLVO PRODUCT. BEST REGARDS AURELIO
