core temperature sensor in Volvo 760 1990

Klaus, Thank you very much. I will drive to Fountain Valley this week and check out the Rule 308 gas station.
This morning I called the dealer and asked for the specific description of the Temperature Sensor...He told me it was the ECT and that the signal received was: 1 2 3 (ΐ] no signal) and 2 2 4 Δ]
I will check it out in FAQs in the code section. Regards,
Ilse

Actually one of the mechanics at the dealer is old and still knows how to work on older cars. We have another car, a 240 wagon which needs to be smog checked. (1985 with 380.000 miles on it! runs good, even has air conditioning.) and an 850 with about 100.000 miles.)
So far no problems with it. ..I will buy some hoses... just in case.
But it is true... we constantly have to wait for parts. (We have kept the 240 just for the purpose of having a car when the other one is in the shop.)
