The garage I'm using (not a dealer but cerified Volvo people) tell me it's not the pressure switch and it's either the clutch or compressor. They are not sure and that troubles me. It seems to me they could determine the problem. They also tell me the clutch can not be repair or adjusted as suggested by Klaus. Find that hard to believe. They recommend I replace clutch and compressor which sounds a lot like a "I don't know what's wrong so let's try the shotgun approach". Can this be narrowed down? Or do I close my eyes and pull the trigger?
