AC compressor not working - where else to look 850 1996

I suspect that the clutch is still working because if you clear the codes the engine start up procedure runs the AC for a few seconds.
There is an easy way to "fix" the clutch, and real cheap:

I suspect that the AC switch is no longer working at the MCC. They have an annoying habit of burning out.
