Service light question 850 1996

Not to worry, there is nothing wrong with the car. 1996 to 1998 need a special tool to reset the service light. It is just there to remind you it is time to change the oil.
I use my light to remind me to not use the turbo until the light is off and the engine is warmed up :)
It turns off after 2 minutes. If it is a distraction to you, get a small piece of black electrical tape and cover the light.
