Chris:

This sounds like a defective evaporator problem, that has been a focal point on this board for some time now. If you do find out that it is your evaporator, it will likely cost you ~ $1K to replace it. I have been trying to get enough people to support a class action suit against Volvo by requesting that they file a complaint with a reputable law firm specializing in this area (http://www.milberg.com/frames_fraud.html). I truly hope that it is NOT your evaporaor ....
