hi, the knock sensors locate behind the air intake manifold, which is difficult to get to and if you go for it then clean/replace the pcv system as well. take your time to clean the engine in general as well. Neg battery off!
-when removing fuel rail be carefull not to damage nozzles
-remove idle air control valve and hoses around
-remove intake manifold (one bolt underside and oil dip stick holder)
and you are there
-notice the orientation of the sensors and wiring route
btw, I have 2x850-94 w 500kkm ond and never problems with knocking sensors so it might also be the wiring or bad connectors causing the problems
