Hi Bryan.

Twisting the remote could make the button contact a non corroded

place on the board OR you have a solder point that is cracked

and under normal circumstances gives no contact until

you twist the remote, circuit board slightly and you will

have contact again.

So if you already cleaned the board with no result, check

your solder points on the board for cracks.
