There are 2 alarm/remote relays under the dash, driver's side. Go here and pick up the online manual, it is free and no virus:

There is a section on the alarm system worth reading.

If your 1995 is like my 1995 was, the red led flashes when the car is key locked. It never did flash when trying to program the remote, so I put the remote in a drawer and relyed on the simple key. The key will set the alarm and unlock the doors when needed - no batteries and no bulk in the pants pocket!
