Before you opt for a new radiator, consider a pressure test of the cooling system. Yes, radiators can fail, but not as often as you think. Too bad, the dealer never tore apart the old tranny and told you why it died.
Antifreeze will kill the internal pumps. Usually, the trannies die from not being still when shifting from R to D.
