Last week, I posted a question w/regards to the gap on the spark plugs been crazy from ~ 0.032 to 0.038". Yesterday, I received the new Volvo plugs and the gap was just as crazy as the plugs in the car. It appears that the previous plugs were install out the box with out checking the gap. Check your gap when installing single electrode plugs.

I removed the throttle plate for cleaning and notice 2 items.
1. The gasket for the body is the same for turbos and none turbo.
2. The throttle plate as that plastic insert that I removed from a 93 850 sedan. I install a plate from a 960 and the throttle response was much better with out it.
I thought about doing the same to this car but the plate has a much smaller diameter. What will be a good replacement for doing this exchange???

I also need some information with regards to the proper procedure for draining or cleaning the inter cooler?????
