Sloppy work... it only take a few minutes to check the gap on new plugs. AND, if plugs are ever taken out for some reason, the gaps whould always be checked and the plugs cleaned.
I would leave the throttle plate alone, except for cleaning.
Cleaning out the intercooler:
Use warm, soapy water. I have use dish cleaning soap, about 2 cap fulls per gallon. With the intercooler hoses off and already cleaned, cover the bottom hole with duct tape. Fill the intercooler with the warm soapy water and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove the duct tape and flush with a garden hose. You might want to cover the bottom hole by hand several times to make sure all of the soap is purged.
Don't forget to also clean all of the piping. And be careful of the PCT nipple on the pipe infront of the turbo, it is fragile and will need cleaning.
!Make sure all of the intercooler connections are tight before giving it full boost! If not, you might hear an explosion and total loss of power. It will idle fine.
