yes, i drilled a hole onto the plastic tubing just before the throttle body, and positioned the nozzle to spray into the TB. i made sure i got the nozzle secured tight but also sealed whatever gap with gasket sealant so no air gets in/out.
the alloy water container i positioned just in front of the battery.
the Spearco kit is pretty much complete, but part of the instructions were plain WRONG, and the US supplier stonewalled me despite numerous emel n faxed queries. fortunately my mechanic had experience fitting the kit and he cleared the confusing instructions for me. since i did most of the "major" work (no big deal, really, the "problem" comes n the form of securing clamps/brackets), he only charged me a nominal sum.
it's designed to work on boost pressure, higher boost, more water sprayed. on reflection, Aquamist may be a better buy but from my research (much earlier on) they were more expensive.
