I do not beleive that there was a S70R model imported. I think the vehicle in question and the sighting is a S70 with the "R" emblem purchased from ipd performance.I have thought of purchasing one my self. Our family car is a black 1998 Volvo S70 GLT w/Automatic transmission. Here is a list of my vehicles modifications:

Future purchases will include a 13" or 14" set of Baer or Movit front brakes with either 4 or 6 pistion caliper. Gas slotted & crossed drilled with SS lines and all the other goodies. I am currently searching for another factory set of Volvo wheels the ones I want are the C70R coupe 17"x7" hollow 5 star type in Gray. On them I will put on a set of Michelin Pilot Alpine winter tires 215/45HR/17.
