Sythetic is only really beneficial if you want to extend your oildrains. If you use dino oil and change every 5K, you will be fine. But if you want 8K or the like, then it is a good choice. Go with Mobil1 or Pennzoil platinum.

Another name for Amsoil is Scamsoil...they won't submit their oils to get rated by the standards organizations.
