Your reasoning is right but they obviously don't think that way. Read the letters under the EVAP Saga Tab of my website http://kinovolvo.cjb.net and see for yourself. After being a loyal customer since 1983 and owning 6 Volvo's I could not get them to reply to my letters until I wrote to the President of the company and only then did I get the canned letter that states sorry to hear you have problems ...etc, from one of his ASSistants.
