old tire question 850 1996

Good pickup. FYI, I had some snow tires in storage that I put on my 1995 850 in 2007. They were BF Goodrich. They were 13 years old but appeared to be in good shape. I should have known better but 2 of the 4 went bad in months. On one the tread separated from the tire and on the other on the belts within the tire slipped causing the tire to be out of balance.
