old tire question 850 1996

Turns out the Kumho Ecsta LX have been discontinued .. i called around a bunch of places before someone told me. I confirmed this with the store i am supposed to pick my my tires at. They told me they did not disclose the discontinuation fact because *it was the tires i wanted* ... can you see something wrong with this picture? No wonder they could not get new tires for me

So i told them to shove it and get me the Kumho Ecsta SPT. I would go somewhere else but these guys are giving me a prorated warranty rebate per current tire. That saves me $80 total.
