Sounds like you know your way around the car pretty well, but I would want to know why there is an oil leak before doing the RMS. Does it smoke from the dipstick (with the dipstick out)? If so, then you probably need to clean out/replace the PCV rather than do the RMS. Running synthetic oil? Have you done an AutoRx treatment? Hope you will retain visitation rights! Good luck, you probably won't have any problems.
