Soft Brakes 850 1995

I'm also wondering that. My other data point is my 245 wagon, which I bled not too long ago. That one is nice and firm. But, per another comment, is the "pre '94" brakes.

The third data point is my wife's Mazda 626, that I recently put a rebuilt m/c on. That one is what I would call "appropriate" - i.e. not so soft that you think there's something wrong, and not so firm that you say "wow, this is great". It's about the same as every other car. (And I travel for work, and so I drive a lot of rental fleet vehicles, too.) It just seems wrong when my impression is that the Volvo 850 Turbo is worse than the "average" vehicle out there.

Ah well. I'm going to re bench-bleed the m/c, and see if it makes a difference.
